Utili-Light was established in 2008 by the current Managing Director, Justin Wright, with the aim to deliver Electrical and Civil Engineering Services to the Construction and Utility industries with a Safe, Sustainable, Service driven and Satisfaction guaranteed ethos.

We believe in “making light work for you”, in its simplest term, this means getting the lights on and delivering the project as expected by our clients, but it means more than that, it is working with our clients from the outset, bringing over 30 years’ experience in the Construction &Utility sectors to find the best solutions for our clients requirements.

Managing Director

Justin is the founder and Managing Director of our company, established in 2008. With over 30 years of experience in electrical and civil engineering, Justin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organisation. His extensive background in the industry has been pivotal in guiding the company’s growth and ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation in our services. Under his leadership, the company continues to thrive and excel in delivering exceptional engineering solutions.

Michelle Gates

Finance Director and Transport manager

Michelle joined our company in 2012 as a Payroll Manager, quickly demonstrating her exceptional skills and dedication. Over the years, she has taken on increasing responsibilities and now serves as both our Finance Director and Transport Manager. In her role as Finance Director, Michelle oversees all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving strategic financial planning and growth. Her expertise in managing budgets, financial reporting, and audits has been instrumental in our company's success. As Transport Manager, Michelle coordinates our logistics and transport operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Her comprehensive understanding of both finance and transport management makes her a key asset to our leadership team.

Richard Bloor

Project Manager (Electrical)

Richard has been a valued member of our team since 2012. Starting his career as an electrician, Richard progressed in the business to becoming a Project Manager. Project Manager (Civils)

Commercial Works Co-Ordinator

Sue joined our team in 2020 and quickly became an invaluable member as our Contracts Administrator. She supports the entire team by overseeing contract processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance.
